Process Technology

 

At each stage of the technological process technological equipment that complies with high printing standards is used at the “LunaPack” enterprise.

 

Pentium IV Xeon and Macintosh G4, G5 Graphic stations; Art – Pro specialized software program, which allows to see and to control shift and juxtaposition of colors on display, ink trapping, combination of Panton system colors with color star. Systems for Score box constructions design. for manufacture of printing plates CTP complex Screen PlateRite Ultima 24000S is used. The CTP technology supports direct light-shorting of flats without usage of traditional phototypesetters and films, minimizing the influence of human factor on printing plates’ quality; usage of color management systems – spectrophotometer and Ink Formulation software made by GretagMacbeth (Switzerland); IGT Proof printing press.

 

КВА Rapida 162 Printing machine (Germany) is the core of the project, format 1120 x 1620 mm, 6 printing sections and 2 lacquering sections (camber squeegee technology), system of infrared and ultraviolet in-line drying – the one in CIS as per its format. It means that with the help of one run we can get print in 6 colors, covered with water-dispersion, metalized, with ultraviolet lacquer or combined lacquering, on customers request. High level of automation (semiautomatic change of plates, nonstop change of stack logistics for paper feed and reception, automated washout of cylinders and plates, automated adjustment from control desk) gives the possibility to considerably decrease the period of time for equipment resetting from one run to the other, as well as minimize the cardboard input. Usage of system with densimetric and spectrophotometric measuring of number of color inks and ink supply management, as well as quality control in the process of manufacture make КВА Rapida 162 – the manufacture mean of extra class. In addition, the color settings are saved in computer memory.

 

KBA Rapida 105-6 – L offset sheet-fed press is  720 x 1050 mm format, 6 printing sections and one lacquering section, system of infrared drying.

 

SBL ST 1600 Machine allows to mask corrugated cardboard sheets of the size from 1100 x 1600 mm up to 300 x 500 mm and as thick as from 0.6 mm to 7 mm.

 

For stamping while cutting the box there are installed two by two stamping presses at the enterprise – Bobst 1600 ER with format of 1115*1600 mm, Bobst 102 E (Switzerland), with format of 720*1020 mm and Bobst 102-E with format 700*1100 mm. With the help of this equipment one may produce relief stamping or blind blocking of products through one stamping cycle.

 

Bobst BMA FoilMaster 102 Stamping equipment (Switzerland) with the format of 720 x 1020 mm and Bobst BMA 104 with the format of 104740 x 1040 mm; SBL - 1050 SEF 750 x 1050 mm that allows to produce high-quality stamping with foil.

 

SBL ML 1600 S machine allows to manufacture advertising constructions of any complexity – stands, show-cards, mobiles, models, as well as to manufacture large-dimension package, using consumable with the format of 1100*1600 mm of cardboard, corrugated cardboard and chipboard.

 

Heiber + Schroeder WPS 1100 – 2 – is the equipment with the help of which one may paste windows in two flows of box supply and to glue, if necessary, film over all the area of box.

 

Folding gluers Bobst MEDIA 100-11 А- 1, Bobst MEDIA 100-11 А- 2, Bobst Alpina 110, Bobst Mistral 110 are made for gluing of different configuration production and are equipped with automated production reception device. Bobst Alpina 110 allows to glue cardboard package of the most difficult configuration. Before gluing there takes place pre-folding and selective glue putting in certain places with the help of extrusion guns.

 

Depending on kind and size, the end production is packed in corrugated boxes or is laid on pallets. For manufacture of corrugated boxes there is used domestic roll press ПР1800 with maximum format 1250 x 2000 mm covering the box. Pallets winding is carried out with the help of packing winding machine WMS STANDART (Czech Republic).

 

Stamping stamps manufacture area. In order to ensure continuous work of stamping presses there was purchased the most modern equipment for stamp forms. High-precision and very flexible in operation milling facility Gerber Profile allows to process different materials and to manufacture different stamps with the help of one workbench. EasyBender completely prepares rulers for installation in stamp form: bends, manufactures different, of complicated configuration cutting lips, as well as cuts measured lengths.

 

Stamping blocks manufacture area. The equipment for etching magnesium block is Stoma (maximum block is 500 x 650 mm) – complete cycle of magnesium block manufacture for hot and cold stamping machines. These blocks satisfy the market demand according to their cost and quality and are meant for not large runs.

"MECA numeric" equipment for printing block engraving. Brass blocks produced using the only in Ukraine high tech engraving workbench “MECAnumeric” are used for stamping of large runs. Engraving in 3 planes allows creating the most complicated blocks with the smallest elements and three-dimensional image.

“LunaPack” has at its disposal the high tech software, in particular Art Pro (Art Work Systems) and RIP Nexus.

 

All the climate control requirements are observed at the production area of the plant.
